Super Mario 3D World was a fun and addicting game to play for the Wii U, but it was filled with performance problems, glitches, and other issues. Developer Renegade has created a repack of Super Mario 3D World that fixes many of these problems. In this tutorial you'll learn how to use this repack to get the best out of your Wii U! In May 2014 Renegade released a WU-centric version of their popular Super Mario 3D World repack for PC. They have now decided to release a second update in July 2015 to fix various issues with the first release. The new update also adds features such as improved controller support and improved visuals while playing on Dolphin emulator. To use this repack to get the best out of your Wii U you'll need Dolphin emulator installed on your PC. To get the best results when playing this game on Dolphin I recommend using the HLE video options. The HLE video option uses an old method to play the game, which doesn't have any of the issues that happen in Dolphin, but it may slow down performance. It's recommended that you use this to get a consistent framerate when playing the game, but I've included instructions to disable it if you don't want to use it. When following instructions below to install, please have an internet connection unless otherwise stated. When you boot up your Wii U and play Super Mario 3D World for the first time it will be the standard version with no fixes. Clicking on the link will start downloading it. When the download is complete, move to where you want to install it, right click the folder and select "extract all". Once installation is complete, you can play the game using HLE. To use this, start Dolphin Emulator and go to "config" > "Video" > "Video Graphics" make sure you have the Wii U Texture Pack installed. Go to HLE video options.
